We went to Moldebadet, Molde’s brand-spanking-new indoor swimming hall. The kids had a blast!

We had a wonderful gathering last weekend of almost 60 friends and family — some we’ve seen many, many times; others we got to meet for the first time. (Lots of babies and little ones born since our last visit.) The kids helped decorate and set the tables. They gave it a good hour in their nice clothes before changing so they could play outside, then they had tons of fun with their cousins. We had a table full of delicious food and amazing cakes, coffee and conversations with so many who are dear to us. We couldn’t have done any of it without my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. They planned and did everything — from baking cakes to renting the place and from picking out decorations to making pot after pot of coffee. We are so lucky and thankful!

We had a fabulous Saturday down by the sea with wonderful friends, delicious food and good drink. I thought Marie might like to join us for grilling on the beach, Norwegian style.
The kids went swimming.
We enjoyed the heat and sunshine.
And a little Dracula wine from Romania.
Lots of laughs.
Good times.
