My red peppers? Finally turning red. Yay!
My tomato had an appendage. Or something. A horn? A thumb? I don’t know, but it sure was tasty.
The rutabaga and carrots? Huge! And tasty!
The canteloupe? Ripe! And tasty!
I made 19 pints of tomato sauce to put in the freezer. I used tomatoes, green peppers and onions from our garden and fresh herbs.
We tried a wonderful summer squash recipe by Elise Bauer at Simply Recipes with green peppers, onions and tomatoes from our garden. It was delicious! Elise recently gave me permission to use two of her recipes in an article (which hasn’t been published yet). She has the best recipes.
