   I have to admit … this was around the time of the expected “rapture” and I couldn’t help thinking of that pastor who has since changed the date. Ah well.

   And then? After several days, they were gone. Did someone come back for them? Did someone else need a pair of shoes and think these were available? Did someone collect them and throw them away?
