Every time you build a snow fort for the kids?

The next day, a blizzard will blow through and close it up. Every. Damn. Time.

I grew up in Indiana and remember the exact thing happening in the 1970s. I think I actually said, “Damnit,” as I looked out the window when I was 10 years-old and saw the opening to our magical cave sealed, just like that. Damnit.

The only consolation? It’s too dang cold during a blizzard to even want to go out there again. Ah well.
