ok… awe is probably not the right word to use. :( sorry about your toes. (am canadian so i do understand the labour involved in digging that out!)
incredible. maybe amsterdam can take a little of the snow off of you? ;) (seriously, this city doesn’t know what to do when there is a light dusting of snow. it’s called a “blizzard”. the whole city becomes beautiful and magic if only for single evenings once or twice a year.)
I should pack a few drifts and send them to Amsterdam. Wonder if the wind travels well? :)
The wind has died down, so the blizzard conditions are gone, but it’s bitterly cold now. From the window, though, it’s a beautiful winter morning. The sky is blue, the sun is bright, the snow sparkles. I should get my camera.

That is amazing! I grew up in North Dakota, but can’t even imagine that type of snow now that I’m in Austin. Great pictures.

We just spent a couple of hours digging out the drift in front of the garage door on the barn, Ingrid. My toes are still frozen.
Yeah, Wendi. Austin sounds really great right about now. ;)

Wow. I cannot for the life of me imagine this much snow. I don’t know how one deals with it!
