Inch by inch, row by row, gonna make this garden grow, all it takes is a rake and a hoe

We have no idea what we’re doing. Our potatoes didn’t grow. Not sure why. But everything else? Gah. We’ve got veggies coming out our ears. We have two huge bags full of green beans. Which I need to get in the freezer tomorrow. And tomatoes. Yipes, the tomatoes. They’re scrumptious. And the onions are sweet. You can eat them like apples. Green peppers? We’ve got tons. Our freezer isn’t big enough. Y’all want veggies? Stop on by. Please! And send recipes.

I am so impressed! It looks like a Miracle Gro commercial. Now you have to write a book about a year on the farm, going back to the good life, blah blah blah. Watch out interlopers cause we’ve got the real thing here!

I’m scared of winter, though. ;)

I think you’re going to need to learn to can: Dilly beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, piccalilly.
Or get a bigger freezer.

Ha! My mom was just asking if I remembered Grandma’s dilly beans. I don’t. But, yeah. I see lots of canning in my future. And I’ve already put a bigger freezer on my “wanted” list.
