Oh, the weather outside is frightful

But the fire is so delightful …
We got the new fireplace going just in time for nasty weather.
It started with the wind. Sort of a mix of hurricane and tornado wind … hurricornado wind. Those are my leaves blowing away, proving that I never need to rake them.
It’s difficult to show in a picture how strong the wind was. But, here. Look at this.
See that in the upper left corner? That’s my windchime. It’s already lost one tube and the wood clacker, and the frame has cracked and split. If this wind keeps up, I don’t think it will last the week.
Then came the snow. Horizontal snow. But it blew in and blew out so fast, it would have been easy to miss.
Not to worry, though … it came back.
I know they dreamed about snowmen last night. They can’t wait.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
