How do you like them apples?

We have an apple tree loaded with apples. We have bags, baskets, boxes and buckets full of apples … and still more apples on the tree.

We have apple butter, apple jelly and applesauce. We made caramel.

For caramel apples.

I made 12 pies in one day.

I’ve been looking for recipes with apples. Thanks to Betty Crocker and Simply Recipes, I’ve found recipes for everything from apple chutney, apple chicken quesadilla and apple and sausage pie to butternut squash apple cranberry bake and slow-roasted pork with melted apples. I even found a recipe for grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and pear, figuring an apple would be as good as a pear. Right?

All’s I know is I have a ton of apples I need to use. If I can use them in something quick, easy and freezable, all the better.
